Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role supports the development and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to aid decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining interactive reports using Qlik, SQL, and other tools, analyzing data to uncover insights, and ensuring data accuracy and governance. A bachelor’s degree and BI tool experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience in analytics, data modeling, business intelligence, or related field preferred.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, SAS, Power BI, or similar technologies preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive, user-friendly reports and dashboards using Qlik tools, ensuring visualizations meet brand standards and user needs.
• Provide data analysis and visualization to support urgent business questions or client requests using Qlik, SQL, and other applicable tools.
• Assist with gathering and understanding business reporting needs and translating defined requirements into reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Analyze data to identify and present insights, anomalies, patterns, and trends to impacted business areas.
• Support the development and maintenance of reporting metrics and key performance indicators based on defined business requirements.
• Perform data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of dashboards, reports, and underlying data.
• Assist with troubleshooting reporting and data issues and work with team members to research and resolve identified discrepancies.
• Support ongoing enhancements to existing dashboards, reports, and reporting processes based on business needs and user feedback.
• Develop knowledge of organizational data sources, business intelligence practices, and applicable data governance standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
