Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced BI/Analytics Engineer to independently configure, monitor, and maintain BI platforms and Epic Cogito environments. You will ensure performance, enforce standards, and train analysts and end users across enterprise systems.

You will also manage security changes, assist in upgrades, mentor junior staff, and contribute to project go-lives while staying current with healthcare IT trends and EHR workflows.

Qualifications

• Epic Cogito certifications required; Cogito certifications preferred.
• 5-7 years in Epic applications and BI tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, test, monitor, and maintain BI platforms and servers.
• Monitor BI tools performance and enforce best practices.
• Provide end-user training and documentation for BI tools.
• Support BI/reporting systems including upgrades and security changes.
• Mentor junior teammates and lead analytics projects.
