Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. The role focuses on generating and maintaining data and analytic solutions to turn data into knowledge, using BI tools and data models to support reporting needs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of experience in Analytics, Data Modeling, or Business Intelligence preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or other BI software and/or data visualization programs.
• Knowledge with SQL, Python or R preferred.
• Knowledge of data sources and database structures.
• Technical skills in programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with Excel/Sheets and data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Able to interact cooperatively with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Create applications and data models for reporting needs using BI tools.
• Develop scripts that import data from multiple sources.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes.
• Suggest alternative data solutions when applicable.
• Communicate with users to develop BI applications, validate effectiveness, and conduct testing.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a fast-growing org.
• Ensure data integrity and reliability through ongoing validation.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver effective solutions.
• Build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and IT.
• Brainstorm development opportunities and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline analytics processes.
