Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team as a remote contributor. The role focuses on turning data into knowledge by building data models and maintaining BI solutions using SQL, Python or R alongside tools like Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense and Power BI.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments, validate data, and adapt to evolving requirements in a fast-growing organization, delivering reliable analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of experience in Analytics, Data Modeling, or Business Intelligence preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or other BI software.
• Knowledge with SQL, Python or R is preferred.
• Knowledge of data sources and database structures and programming languages (SQL, R, Python).
• Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets and data visualization tools.
• Adhere to compliance program objectives and collaborate effectively with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs.
• Develop reporting scripts that import data from various sources.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes.
• Suggest alternative data solutions and validate effectiveness with users.
• Communicate with stakeholders to develop BI applications and test usability.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a fast-growing environment.
• Support data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Collaborate with teammates and IT to deliver effective solutions.
• Initiate relationships with business stakeholders and IT for development opportunities.
