Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. The role focuses on generating and maintaining data and analytic solutions to turn data into knowledge.

The BI Developer will interpret databases, develop data models within BI tools and maintain existing applications, working closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

You'll adapt to changing reporting needs, validate data, and collaborate across IT and business teams in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on business, CS, IS, math, or stats; or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of experience in Analytics, Data Modeling, or BI preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI.
• Knowledge of data sources and database structures.
• Programming skills in SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and BI visualization tools.
• Participate in compliance objectives and cooperative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create data models and reporting apps.
• Develop scripts to import data from multiple sources.
• Identify inter-department dependencies and downstream impacts of changes.
• Suggest alternative data solutions when applicable.
• Communicate with users to validate BI applications and run tests.
• Adapt to changing reporting needs and new BI tools.
• Conduct ongoing data validation for integrity and reliability.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver effective solutions.
• Build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and IT.
• Research opportunities to improve analytics processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline analytics workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.
