Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. The role will generate and maintain data and analytic solutions that turn data into knowledge, building data models within BI tools and supporting reporting applications.

You will work with SQL Server, Oracle SQL, QlikView/QlikSense, Tableau and related technologies to translate business needs into scalable dashboards and data pipelines, while ensuring data quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of analytics, data modeling, or BI experience preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with data sources and database structures.
• Proficiency in programming languages like SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with Excel/Sheets and dashboards in Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
• Ability to comply with corporate objectives and collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs.
• Develop reporting scripts to import data from multiple sources.
• Identify dependencies and downstream impacts of changes in reporting applications.
• Suggest alternative data solutions when applicable.
• Communicate with users to develop BI applications, validate effectiveness, and perform testing.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a fast-growing organization.
• Ensure data validation and reliability across analytics processes.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Research opportunities and drive improvements in analytics processes.
