Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. This role focuses on generating and maintaining data and analytic solutions to turn data into knowledge, building data models, and maintaining BI applications.

The ideal candidate will use BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SAS, and Power BI, and will work with SQL and scripting to import data from multiple sources. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience, required.
• 1 year of experience in Analytics, Data Modeling, or BI preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or other BI software and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data analytic tools like SQL, Python or R is preferred.
• Knowledge of key data sources and database structures.
• Programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python are used.
• Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Use Qlikview, QlikSense, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, and other tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs.
• Develop reporting application scripts that import data from various sources.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes in reporting applications.
• Communicate with users to develop BI applications, validate and test.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a fast-growing organization.
• Ensure data validation and integrity, and collaborate with teammates and stakeholders.
