Job summary

Reserv is an insurtech seeking an AV BI Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and settle bodily injury claims arising from autonomous and driver-assist vehicle incidents. You will analyze liability using vehicle data, video, and remote records, not just statements.

You will contact claimants, witnesses, medical providers, and counsel; set reserves; negotiate settlements within authority; and coordinate with safety and legal teams on sensitive incidents.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of bodily injury claims experience, preferably commercial auto, rideshare, or trucking.
• Strong medical-records review and injury valuation skills.
• Experience with represented claimants and attorney negotiation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent claims experience.
• Proficiency in the claims system, document management, and Microsoft Office.
• Clear written and verbal communication with claimants, counsel, carriers, and client partners.
• Active adjuster license: resident-state license where available, otherwise a Designated Home State (DHS) license. Willing to obtain any additional required licenses within 60 days, including state testing.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate BI claims, building liability analysis on vehicle data, video, and remote-assistance records.
• Contact claimants, witnesses, medical providers, and counsel promptly, documenting injuries, treatment, and damages.
• Set and maintain reserves that reflect liability, damages, venue, and representation.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authority, and document settlement strategy above it.
• Identify claims with litigation, product-liability, or regulatory risk and elevate early to the Litigation Adjuster and Team Lead, partnering with safety and legal teams on sensitive incidents.
• Manage medical bills, liens, Medicare/Medicaid reporting, and settlement documentation, with audit-ready file notes.
