Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending seeks a mid-level BI analyst to develop and maintain reports and dashboards, analyze mortgage lending data, and support decision-making across the Lending Division. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure regulatory reporting accuracy.

You will work with Power BI, SSRS, and SQL to deliver actionable insights, automate reporting processes, and contribute to data dictionaries.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of business operations, data structures, and BI
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
• Two to four years’ experience as a Business Reporting Analyst I or similar role
• Two years in Residential Mortgage Industry experience
• Microsoft Power BI Certification is preferred
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical queries and visualizations

Responsibilities

• Gather reporting requirements from business units and deliver insights
• Coordinate regulatory reporting (HMDA, Fair Lending, state/federal reports)
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Validate data and create exception reports
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using BI tools
• Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency
• Document data dictionary for Mortgage Lending data and reporting procedures
• Provide training and support to business users of reporting tools
