Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a 100% remote Call Center Representative with experience in benefits enrollment/retirement benefits. The role is fully remote with an 8-hour shift between 8am-8pm EST, Monday to Friday. The position offers $20/hr and contractual-to-hire potential.

Training and equipment are provided, with benefits options available after eligibility. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in a benefits-focused call center, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2 years of call center experience in benefits enrollment/benefits administration or retirement/pension benefits
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Microsoft Office proficient

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service assistance for Pension and Health & Welfare plans and maintains high quality interactions.
• Routinely suggests process improvements and supports implementation.
• Handles benefit plan inquiries from plan participants, retirees and beneficiaries; resolves most questions; refers complex issues as needed.
• Accesses systems to obtain information and document actions; ensures changes are recorded accurately.
• Responds to web mail inquiries within delegated authority and initiates changes in systems as needed.
• Prepares reports and other documents; ensures information is thoroughly researched and accurate.
• Develops effective working relationships with customers and other departments; aids colleagues and may train new staff.
• Maintains relationships with internal and external clients.
