Cardinal Health Sonexus Access and Patient Support seeks a remote, full-time Patient Support Specialist to help patients enroll and navigate benefit programs. You will handle inbound calls, assess financial assistance options, and coordinate with payers to maximize coverage while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience, Medicare knowledge, and strong data-entry skills in a high-volume environment.

Competenze

• 3-6 years of experience preferred
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Patient Support Service experience preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare policies and payer guidelines preferred
• 1-2 years experience with Prior Authorization and Appeal submissions preferred
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) preferred

Mansioni

• First point of contact on inbound calls and determines needs
• Creates and completes accurate enrollment applications
• Scrutinizes forms for missing information and updates database
• conducts outbound calls to gather missing information
• Assist with benefit investigations and payer communications
• Maintain detailed activity notes for inquiries and actions
• Assess patient’s financial ability and guide to financial assistance
• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution with clients
