Job summary

Fidelity Workplace Consulting is seeking a Technical Writer to join its Employee Experience Design team. The role focuses on drafting technical benefit communications and creating content across print, web, video, and social formats for clients.

The ideal candidate has strong writing/editing skills, benefits knowledge, SPD drafting experience, and the ability to collaborate with technical consultants to ensure ERISA compliance and clear, employee-friendly documents. Remote W2 role with benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills across audiences and formats.
• Knowledge of employee retirement plan and health and welfare plan fundamentals.
• Experience drafting Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and other technically detailed benefit communications.
• Ability to partner with technical consultants to ensure ERISA compliance and clarity.
• Ability to structure SPDs and benefit guides for modular organization and AI-friendly extraction.
• Growth mindset with focus on continuous learning and improvement.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, client-facing settings.
