Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Technical Writer to join the Employee Experience Design team within Fidelity Workplace Consulting, working remotely on employee benefit communications for external clients.

You will draft SPDs and other benefit communications across print, web, video, and social media, ensuring accuracy and clarity under ERISA while collaborating with technical consultants and teams. This is a W2 role offering medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills across audiences and formats.
• Experience drafting Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and other benefit communications.
• Ability to partner with technical consultants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity under ERISA.
• Ability to structure SPDs and benefit guides for logical organization and modularity for AI-assisted extraction.
• 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft technical content for benefit communications.
• Draft custom content across multimedia formats including print, web, video, and social for client campaigns.
• Collaborate across internal and external teams to meet client objectives and deliver accurate, high-impact work.
