Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide behavioral healthcare, counseling, case management, and clinical support services for Special Operations Forces personnel and their families.

This role supports the psychological, social, and operational readiness of Service Members by addressing the unique challenges of military life, supporting recovery and resilience, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary care teams, medical personnel, legal authorities, commanders,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Current LCSW or LMSW license valid in the state of practice.
• Experience in behavioral health or military context is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health services, counseling, and case management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and stakeholders.
• Support research, clinical investigations, and quality improvement activities.
• Supervise staff and ensure contract and SLA compliance.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings.
• Provide individual, family, group, and couples therapy as applicable.
