Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide behavioral healthcare, counseling, case management, and clinical support for Special Operations Forces personnel and families. U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance are required for contract performance.

The role includes approved research participation, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development. This position is pending contract award and requires readiness to support military families

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent as required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Current LCSW or LMSW with license valid in the state of practice is required.
• Experience in brief behavioral interventions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of employees through cultivation of a high performance team.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage for assigned program area.
• Serve as subject matter expert for identified area of program knowledge.
• Ensure assigned team is meeting contract and SLA requirements.
• Work with contract management and shared services to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies.
• May attend client and stakeholder meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Provide individual, family, group, and couples therapy, as well as alcohol and drug treatment evaluations.
• Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts as required.
• Participate in military-specific training and activities, including security clearance-related requirements.
