Job summary

Maximus seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to support SOF personnel and families with behavioral health services, case management, and clinical support. The role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams across medical, legal, and command structures to strengthen psychological resilience.

Candidate must have an active US security clearance or eligibility, a relevant license (LCSW/LMSW), and at least two years of mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or relevant experience.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Current LCSW or LMSW with license valid in the state of practice is required.
• Credentialing and privileging standards may apply in the DoD/ DHA context.
• Minimum of two years of peer-reviewable clinical work experience in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of employees and ensure high performance.
• Ensure adequate staff coverage for the program area.
• Provide psychotherapy services including individual, family, group, and couples therapy.
• Perform case management and coordinate with medical, legal, and operational stakeholders.
• Attend client and stakeholder meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to clinical supervision where applicable.
