The position requires 3+ years of scheduling experience, proficiency with EHR systems, and solid understanding of insurance terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with Medical Scheduling is highly preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and internet.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems preferred.
• Solid understanding of insurance terminology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of records per HIPAA.
• Assess high risk and coordinate warm hand-offs to a Behavioral Health Professional.
• Maintain client paperwork (billing, BH screeners, progress notes).
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer and route calls appropriately.
• Daily outbound calls to potential clients.
• Engage with multiple payors and interfaces.
• Perform additional duties as appropriate.
