Job summary

CarePoint Response (CPR) is seeking a reliable Dispatcher to join our Call Center operations. You will coordinate and dispatch Mobile Response Teams across multiple counties, triage calls, and use BHL software to dispatch teams, register clients, and monitor bed registry.

This role is vital in connecting callers with care and resources during crises. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, with 1 year of mental health experience or 2 years of administrative support, and will work

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Associates Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Communication or Related preferred.
• 1 year of community mental health experience highly desired or lived experience.
• 2 years of administrative support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides MRT dispatch services through the Behavioral Health Link (BHL) software.
• Receives, screens, and takes appropriate action on MRT dispatch calls and bed registry requests.
• Determines crisis nature and priority, and dispatches MRT units per department policies.
• Enters crisis information into the computer-aided dispatch system and maintains unit status.
• Provides information, instructions, and assistance to the public.
• Receives and relays information about incidents to appropriate agencies and staff.
• Acts as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders and care partners.
• Follows company policies and procedures and performs additional duties as assigned.
