CVS Health is seeking a remote Behavioral Health Clinician to provide high-quality mental health care from a home-based setting. This independent, licensed professional will assess, plan, and coordinate care for members with complex behavioral health and substance use needs, using Motivational Interviewing and evidence-based practices.

The role emphasizes collaboration, crisis intervention, and seamless documentation while engaging members, with standard business hours and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling is required.
• Active, unrestricted independent behavioral health license (e.g., LCSW, LISW, LMSW, LCPC, LP, LMFT, LMHC or state equivalent).
• 3+ years of post-master’s direct clinical experience.
• 3+ years working with mental health and substance use disorders.
• 3+ years using Motivational Interviewing; strong documentation skills while speaking with members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with providers and coordinate behavioral health and psychosocial services.
• Use Motivational Interviewing to engage members and reduce clinical risk factors.
• Provide crisis intervention and connect members with appropriate treatment and follow-up care.
• Support members with complex behavioral and physical health needs.
