Job summary

WuXi AppTec in the United States seeks a results-driven business development professional to expand WuXi TIDES/CDMO services for oligonucleotide and peptide programs. You will hunt and nurture leads, manage existing accounts, and coordinate with the US BD team to convert opportunities while maintaining CRM data and traveling for local meetings when possible.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemistry; professional training or experience in business (Marketing/Sales).
• PhD highly desired.
• 4–8 years of relevant oligonucleotide/peptide CDMO or CRO/CMO experience.

Responsibilities

• Uncover and cultivate business relationships and opportunities to generate revenue for WuXi TIDES and STA Pharmaceutical.
• Hunt and prospect for new drug development contacts and companies that could benefit from CDMO services.
• Obtain conferences/meetings to present services; travel to local client meetings when possible.
• Participate in tradeshows to raise profile and generate leads.
• Refine and follow up on leads from sales and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain CRM records with contacts, leads, and accounts; monitor industry trends.
