Job summary

NAM is seeking a Business Development Director to build and scale our sales organization in the New York City metro area, with remote flexibility. This relationship-driven role targets mid-market litigation firms, translating NAM’s ADR capabilities into measurable matter outcomes.

You will travel regularly in the NYC metro area, cultivate senior partners, represent NAM at events, and collaborate with marketing and panel development to align demand with NAM neutrals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience selling professional services into mid-market law firms.
• Relationship-first mindset with judgment on when to escalate to an expert.
• Self-motivation and independent management of time and activities.
• Willing to travel across the NYC metropolitan area regularly.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with commercial litigators across a defined group of mid-market and boutique firms in the NYC metro area.
• Monitor and communicate trends in practice group growth and market moves.
• Match attorneys' practices to NAM neutrals and make introductions.
• Represent NAM at bar events, CLE programs, and ADR conferences.
• Maintain activity and relationships in the CRM.
• Share insights with internal partners to align marketing and panel development with demand.
