Job summary

BEAM is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design, implement, and evaluate behavior analysis interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities and related challenges. You will lead a team of paraeducators and professionals to tailor high-quality care to each client’s goals.

You will collaborate with district behavioral teams, develop functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and provide training to staff to ensure

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field.
• Experience with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and behavioral challenges.
• Certification to supervise behavior aides.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire and guide a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between BEAM and community/district partners to understand student behavior plans and communicate them to BEAM staff.
• Promote relationships for the benefit of students, BEAM, and partners.
• Confer with staff/partners on student adjustment issues.
• Assist programs in curriculum development and instructional improvement for behavioral programming.
• Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs based on results.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to target behaviors.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust plans.
• Provide leadership to a team of behavior aides and professionals.
• Provide professional development through modeling, coaching, and instruction.
• Conduct orientations and training for paraeducators on BIPs, ABA, and best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
