Job summary

FronteraCare is seeking a mission-driven BCBA to lead Initial Assessments (FBAs) via telehealth in a fast-growing, tech-enabled environment and establish the clinical foundation for client success.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, comfort with innovation, and the ability to thrive in a startup culture with evolving processes. Location flexibility across NM/AZ/TX/others is supported by remote work.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a BCBA.
• At least 1 year of Functional Behavior Assessment focused work preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Strong clinical writing and analytical skills.
• Experience with telehealth and remote supervision.
• Comfort with technology platforms and data systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote startup environment.
• Located in NM, AZ, TX, FL, GA, ID, NC, NV, UT, OK, or CO.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) using caregiver interviews, records, direct observation, and standardized tools.
• Utilize video-capture technology to review sessions and inform treatment planning.
• Develop individualized, data-driven treatment plans and behavior intervention plans aligned with medical necessity.
• Ensure reports meet payer authorization standards and internal quality benchmarks.
• Prepare cases for transition to ongoing BCBA and RBT teams.
• Maintain clinical documentation accuracy and timeliness.
