Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services in California seeks an Assessor to conduct FBAs for individuals with autism and developmental delays. This remote, hybrid role requires BCBA certification and a Master’s in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.

The assessor will analyze data, draft detailed reports with treatment recommendations, and collaborate with the clinical team to inform individualized plans.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification in good standing is required.
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience conducting assessments for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) using standardized tools.
• Develop detailed assessment reports with treatment recommendations.
• Collaborate with clinical team to inform treatment plans and objectives.
• Analyze data to identify patterns and intervention strategies.
• Coordinate caregiver or stakeholder interviews for background information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ABA practices and assessment methods.
• Ensure timely completion of assessments and documentation.
• Communicate results to caregivers, school staff, and professionals as needed.
• Pursue ongoing BCBA supervision and professional development.
