Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Battery Storage Field Service Engineer to support the Operations and Maintenance of installed battery storage projects and prepare for transition to LTSA. You will close out engineering actions, assist technicians and service managers, and help optimize DC/AC ESS performance during LTSA and O&M.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 8+ years in electrical engineering, and knowledge of power, battery systems and controls, with travel up to 50% worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years professional experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of power systems, battery systems and controls.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Support the O&M of installed battery storage projects.
• Assist with readiness for LTSA transitions.
• Close out engineering actions and punchlist items.
• Provide technical support to technicians and Service Managers.
• Understand BESS, PCS, SCADA interfaces and system interconnections.
