Voltus is seeking a Battery Sales Director to build and grow a book of battery customers across the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes regions. You will lead relationships with facilities, manufacturers, and institutions to deploy batteries on-site and create grid capacity, driving revenue through strategic partnerships and outbound prospecting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales with self-sourced outbound prospecting.
• Experience selling into C&I accounts; hospital groups, universities, or municipalities is a plus.
• Battery or energy industry sales and development experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Generate your own pipeline through outbound calls, email outreach, and self-sourced lead development across the territory.
• Lead the sales cycle from first call through contract close, coordinating with partnerships team and battery partners.
• Build relationships with energy, operations, and finance decision-makers at hospitals, universities, and municipalities.
• Educate prospects on Voltus's battery offerings and translate grid economics into operational and financial value.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and deal activity in the CRM.
• Share market intelligence and help refine outreach strategy to improve close rates.
