Job summary

Voltus, a leading platform for distributed energy resources, is hiring a Battery Sales Manager to build and lead a team of Battery Sales Directors. You will contract with customers, work with battery partners, and accelerate deployment of hundreds of MW of batteries in PJM.

You will identify opportunities with Regional and Enterprise teams, drive LOIs and ESA signings, and shape the battery offering through market feedback and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales in the energy industry.
• Proven ability to manage long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
• Familiarity with wholesale electricity markets, demand response programs, and batteries.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and process development skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train a team of Battery Sales Directors to win in the PJM market.
• Sell batteries directly to end customers and secure signed LOIs.
• Partner with customers and Directors to deliver ESA execution and market registration.
• Feed customer and market intelligence to the battery team to evolve offerings.
• Iterate on the battery sales playbook with the team.
