Job summary

MWI Veterinary Supply Company, a Cencora brand, seeks a Batching Systems Automation Technician to install, configure, and support PLC-based batching and control systems used in production animal operations, mainly dairy and feedlot. The role is primarily remote with frequent travel to rural Texas Panhandle facilities.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and electrical systems, work across Linux-based systems, SQL databases, and industrial networks, and participate in a rotating 24/7

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent in technical field or trade school.
1-3 years in agricultural operations, automation, PLC, or electrical systems.
Troubleshooting hardware/software systems; professional communication.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support PLC-based batching and control systems
Integrate automation with scales, flow meters, pumps, augers
Support integration between batching software and field equipment
Diagnose and resolve automation and control system faults
