Job summary

Cencora is seeking an Automation Technician for remote Texas work with significant travel for installation, training, and support of batching systems used in production animal operations. You will install PLC-based batching and control software, integrate with field equipment, and diagnose complex faults both remotely and on-site.

The role requires an associate degree or technical training and 1–3 years in automation or electrical work.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or completion of technical trade school in electrical/automation or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in agricultural operations, industrial automation, PLC systems, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/software systems and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support PLC-based batching and control systems.
• Integrate batching systems with scales, pumps, augers, and other equipment.
• Provide training and real-time technical support to operators and customers.
