Job summary
Walmart is expanding with its third company-owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This Dairy Plant Automation Technician III role supports manufacturing automation changes and ongoing maintenance of PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and SCADA networks in a high-volume facility in Robinson, TX.
You will mentor other technicians, review work orders, and collaborate with Engineering to drive continuous improvement and reliability.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include coursework or certification in electronic technology with 2 years’ maintenance experience or 3 years’ related experience performing troubleshooting, repair, and programming of automated equipment.
- Option to use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Preferred qualifications include ISA CCST III certification and PLC/robotic programming experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in operating multiple plant departments and lead maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and repair of electrical and other equipment.
- Program, configure, and modify PLC logic, HMI screens, and robotic controllers for automation changes and new equipment.
- Lead root-cause analysis on downtime events and support overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
