Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer – Direct Channel for a remote role based in the United States.

You will support global product teams, review BAS project estimates, and optimize costs to improve competitiveness while coordinating with account managers on pricing variances. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years in building construction, and familiarity with Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the Building Construction Industry.
• Experience with Mechanical Retrofits, HVAC controls and BAS management.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer BAS project estimates and provide cost optimization recommendations.
• Maintain data tracking and entry in Salesforce for project details and metrics.
• Collaborate with account managers to manage pricing variances and proposals.
• Train Sales and Operations teams on product offerings and estimation tools.
• Generate regular reports to track project stage and performance.
