Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Application Engineer – Direct Channel, remote within the United States, to support our Controls product teams and meet revenue objectives. You will review BAS project estimates and provide strategies to optimize costs, maximize product utilization, and improve profitability across the Metasys portfolio.

In this role, you will coordinate with branch sales, engineers, and project managers, manage pricing variances, and maintain detailed data in Salesforce and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years in Building Construction Industry with HVAC/BAS experience preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review BAS project estimates and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with account managers to maintain project data in Salesforce and SAP.
• Manage pricing variances per project and ensure alignment with profitability.
• Train Sales and Operations teams on new product offerings and tools.
