Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Banking Solution Architect in the United States. This role focuses on driving technical innovation for financial institutions, from mainframe modernization to digital services, while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

You will lead pre-sales solutioning with cross-functional teams, build proofs of concepts, and foster executive relationships to deliver multi-year transformations in banking environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, at least 5 in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Certifications such as CISSP or TOGAF.
• Understanding of mainframe technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, FDIC, SOX).
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives while maintaining compliance.
• Collaborates effectively with cross-disciplinary teams and engages with C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs deeply and tailor solutions for banking environments.
• Present Ensono’s Mainframe Modernization and digital offerings to banking clients.
• Develop proofs of concepts demonstrating value across IT landscape while ensuring compliance.
• Address client questions during proposals with banking regulatory expertise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive multi-year banking transformations.
• Create reference architectures and templates for financial institution solutions.
• Foster executive relationships with banking clients and mitigate risk.
• Provide fully costed solution architectures meeting regulatory requirements.
• Communicate progress through presentations, meetings, and published content.
• Maintain documentation on IT activities, roadmaps, and regulatory considerations.
• Travel up to 25%.
