Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Banking Solution Architect for a remote role within the United States. The candidate will drive technical innovation and transformation for financial institution clients, from mainframe modernization to digital services, while ensuring strict banking regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with solution architects and digital consultants across pre-sales, develop proofs of concept, and engage with C-suite stakeholders to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture; 5+ years in financial services or banking
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Certifications such as CISSP or TOGAF are preferred
• Knowledge of mainframe technologies and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong understanding of banking regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, FDIC, SOX)
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and compliance
• Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams
• Comfortable engaging with C-suite stakeholders in banking

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and tailor solutions for financial institutions
• Present Ensono’s Mainframe Modernization and digital offerings to banking clients
• Develop proofs of concept demonstrating value across IT landscape while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Address client questions and objections during proposals with banking-specific requirements
• Work with cross-functional teams on multi-year transformation initiatives for banking environments
• Create reference architectures and templates for complex financial solutions
• Foster executive-level relationships with banking clients and mitigate risk
• Provide fully costed solutions that meet regulatory requirements
• Communicate progress through formal presentations and stakeholder meetings
• Maintain documentation on IT activities, roadmaps, and regulatory considerations
