Job summary

Switchboard Hiring seeks a Customer Service Representative for a well-established community bank. You’ll assist customers with mobile banking, Bill Pay, and more. After a 4–8 week training period at a designated bank location, the role becomes fully remote within the United States.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills and enjoy helping people, with prior branch banking or call center experience preferred. Comprehensive benefits include 401(k), health insurance, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in branch banking is highly preferred
• Prior customer service or call center experience is preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of helping people
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer inquiries
• Comfort with Internet banking, mobile banking and Bill Pay platforms

Responsibilities

• Independently perform a variety of duties related to customer and electronic services (Internet banking, telephone banking, mobile banking, Bill Pay, deposits)
• Field inbound calls focused on supporting current customers with bank services
• Answer inquiries regarding bank products, services, and fees using standard scripts
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Resolve customer problems with professionalism and follow-through
• Deliver exceptional customer service on every interaction
