Job summary

ARETUM Holdings LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to join a federal program, focusing on Python/Django backend services and REST APIs with a frontend in TypeScript and React. Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development on Agile teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience building backend services and REST APIs in Python, including Django.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including writing/tuning queries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test Python and Django backend services and REST APIs in an Agile scrum team.
• Build data transformation and ETL routines moving content and metadata between enterprise systems.
• Implement content identification, filtering, and workflow-trigger logic.
• Develop and maintain TypeScript/React front-end features for admin interfaces.
• Deploy and maintain services across AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines.
