Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience building and operating backend systems.
• Proficiency in backend languages (Go, Java) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
• Track record of serving as DRI for technical projects, delivering end-to-end.
• Experience with blockchain or crypto technologies (stablecoins, on-chain payments, Ethereum/Solana).
• Ability to write technical design documents and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own key projects end-to-end as the Directly Responsible Individual, driving money-movement features from design to production.
• Build backend systems, infrastructure, and APIs enabling stablecoin-powered payments.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Infra, and Compliance to balance speed, security, and regulatory needs.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed systems and fix bottlenecks before impact.
• Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews and architectural patterns.
