Coinbase, Inc. is hiring Senior Software Engineers for the Developer Infrastructure group. You will design, build, and operate core services that empower engineers to write, validate, ship, and run code at scale.

You’ll own end-to-end platform components, improve build times and reliability, mentor teammates, and collaborate across product and engineering teams in a remote-first environment that values high-performance and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production software with distributed systems fundamentals.
• Strong proficiency in Go or a similar language.
• Experience operating at scale with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform and containers.
• Focus on reliability, security, and observability in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core developer infrastructure services across CI, build systems, deployment orchestration, and test infrastructure.
• Improve engineering productivity metrics: build time, deploy speed, safety, and test feedback.
• Own services end to end: architecture, observability, SLOs, and on-call operations.
• Partner with engineering teams to translate pain points into platform improvements.
• Lead technical design for cross-cutting projects and drive them to production.
• Mentor engineers and shape the platform's technical direction.
