You’ll design HIPAA‑compliant services, integrate with Epic or Cerner EHRs, implement HL7/FHIR interoperability, protect PHI with encryption, and collaborate with security teams—while enjoying 100% remote work and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with a healthcare focus.
• HIPAA-compliant systems and PHI handling.
• EHR integrations with Epic or Cerner.
• Interoperability via HL7 and FHIR standards.
• Audit logging and safeguards for health data.
• Strong English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale HIPAA-compliant backend services.
• Integrate with EHR platforms such as Epic and Cerner.
• Develop data pipelines and APIs using HL7 and FHIR.
