The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers and engineers to ship data-driven products. You will work in a fully remote environment with occasional in-person trainings or team gatherings, and you’ll apply disciplined AI-assisted

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience building backend systems.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
• Strong general-purpose programming skills and fundamentals.
• Solid debugging skills and production performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling abilities.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Comfort using AI coding assistants and validating outputs with tests.

Responsibilities

• Own backend features end-to-end from discovery to rollout and reliability.
• Design and evolve distributed systems with focus on performance and scalability.
• Build and maintain APIs and data access for analytics and search use cases.
• Develop scalable data pipelines powering features, analytics and ML workloads.
• Ensure data reliability, quality, and monitoring across pipelines.
• Promote strong engineering habits: code reviews, testing, incident readiness.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to ship data-driven products.
• Document systems, pipelines, and architecture; share knowledge with teammates.
