Job summary

Crosslake Technologies is seeking an experienced software engineer for a US-based remote role. You will help build scalable backend services, own cross-system design, and contribute to domain modeling. The team operates in small pods with end-to-end ownership and strong emphasis on sound system design.

You will design reusable services, collaborate on data models, and leverage AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring quality and maintainability across platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Experience designing distributed systems and applying DDD concepts.
• Cloud deployment experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Daily use of AI coding tools to accelerate development.
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, TypeScript, Golang, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Design and build shared backend services and APIs used across multiple systems.
• Define service boundaries, contracts, and data models.
• Own the full SDLC: design, development, testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Contribute to domain modeling and system design decisions.
• Ensure services are scalable, reliable, and reusable.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.
