Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to provide hands-on technical leadership and deliver production-grade solutions on Azure using microservices and the .NET stack. This remote, full-time role emphasizes AI-assisted engineering, HIPAA compliance, and cross-team collaboration across architecture, security, and product groups.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in OO development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js, plus 4+ years of supervisory experience and deep Azure expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of object-oriented software development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience with mentoring and team development.
• Deep Azure experience including API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services, and Cosmos DB.
• Proven design and delivery of microservices at scale.
• DevSecOps principles with security integrated into code, CI/CD, and cloud.
• Automated testing discipline and REST API design across data sources.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted engineering tools and LLM-based tooling.
• Agile/Scrum with rapid PoC delivery.
• Leadership in a data-driven organization using reports to manage people/projects.
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and driving outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical roadmap and lead end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery for healthcare systems.
• Design components, write high-quality code, troubleshoot, and perform code reviews.
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions on Azure using microservices and .NET stack.
• Drive AI-assisted coding and secure code review standards.
• Own AI-backed features including PHI-safe prompts and logging.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security, and other teams on integration strategies.
• Translate complex designs for non-technical stakeholders and align with priorities.
• Ensure HIPAA, PHI/PII-safe engineering and healthcare interoperability requirements.
• Apply DevSecOps across code, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage direct reports including hiring, training, mentoring, and removing barriers.
• Lead engineers with a solution-first mindset in fast-paced environments.
• Foster rapid prototyping and PoC culture with emphasis on quality and maintainability.
• Complete documentation, protect privacy, and participate in required training.
