Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to provide hands-on technical leadership and deliver Azure-based, microservices-driven solutions in healthcare. This role emphasizes DevSecOps, AI-assisted engineering practices, and collaboration across architecture, security, and product teams.

The position requires 10+ years in OO software with C#, .NET Core, and React, plus 4+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of object-oriented software development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience.
• Deep Azure experience including API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services, and Cosmos DB.
• Proven design and delivery of microservices at scale.
• DevSecOps principles with security built into code, CI/CD, and cloud.
• Automated testing discipline and REST API design across data sources.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices (LLM-based tooling, code generation).
• Agile/Scrum experience with iterative development and rapid PoCs.
• Leadership in data-driven environments using reports to prioritize people and projects.
• Camunda BPM experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical roadmap and lead end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery for healthcare systems.
• Act as the senior engineer designing components, writing quality code, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing code reviews.
• Build scalable, cloud-native Azure microservices using .NET stack while driving engineering excellence.
• Drive AI-assisted coding adoption and secure code review standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security, and other teams on integration strategies and blueprints.
• Translate complex designs for non-technical stakeholders and align outcomes with priorities.
• Ensure HIPAA, PHI-safe engineering, and healthcare interoperability requirements.
• Apply DevSecOps principles across code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor direct reports, hiring, training, and removing barriers to goals.
• Foster rapid prototyping and a culture of quality and maintainability.
