Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead hands-on technical work and product-ready solutions on the Azure stack using microservices and the .NET framework. The role emphasizes DevSecOps, HIPAA compliance, and AI-assisted engineering practices while coordinating across architecture, security, and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of OO software development experience with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience mentoring teams.
• Strong Azure experience including API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions, REST services, Cosmos DB.
• Proven design and delivery of microservices at scale.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps with secure coding, CI/CD, and cloud.
• Familiar with AI-assisted tooling, code generation, and workflow automation.
• Proven Agile/Scrum experience with rapid POC delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical roadmap and end-to-end architecture and delivery.
• Design components, write high-quality code, and perform code reviews.
• Build cloud-native Azure solutions using microservices and .NET stack.
• Lead AI-assisted coding adoption and secure code review standards.
• Drive PHI-safe engineering and HIPAA-compliant practices.
• Collaborate across Product, Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams.
• Translate complex designs for non-technical stakeholders and align priorities.
• Mentor engineers, hire, train, and remove barriers to goals.
• Foster rapid prototyping and maintainable software through ownership.
• Ensure training, documentation, and compliance activities are completed.
