Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an Engineering Manager to provide hands-on technical leadership and deliver production-grade Azure-based microservices using .NET. The role emphasizes DevSecOps, HIPAA/PHI-safe practices, and AI-assisted engineering while collaborating with architecture, security, and product teams.

The position is full-time and requires strong leadership, architecture experience, and a commitment to quality, compliance, and customer service in healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of OO software development with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
• 4+ years of supervisory and mentoring experience.
• Deep Azure experience with API Apps, Logic Apps, Functions and Cosmos DB.
• Proven design and delivery of microservices at scale.
• DevSecOps with secure code, CI/CD, and cloud.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and REST APIs.
• Agile/Scrum delivery with data-driven leadership.
• Experience with diverse teams and healthcare familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the team's technical roadmap and end-to-end architecture for healthcare systems.
• Design components, write high-quality code, and perform code reviews.
• Build cloud-native Azure solutions using microservices and .NET.
• Drive AI-assisted coding adoption and secure coding standards.
• Define integration strategies with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure HIPAA/PHI-safe engineering and cloud compliance controls.
• Lead, mentor, hire, and remove barriers to meet goals.
• Promote rapid prototyping and maintainable, testable codebases.
• Document work accurately and participate in required trainings.
