Job summary

Atmosera is hiring for a contractor cloud engineer to advance Azure-based infrastructure, migrations, and managed services. You will design automated deployment and monitoring solutions, work with clients to map business needs to cloud architectures, and lead transitions from on-prem to Azure environments.

You will stay current with Azure innovations, collaborate in a team-driven setting, and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud configurations and deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical or service orgs performing hands-on cloud work.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure and hyper-scaler cloud technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL and Azure networking components.
• Experience scripting and automating with PowerShell, Terraform or similar tools.
• External client-facing experience and good documentation skills.
• Ability to map business needs to cloud solutions and work in agile/ITIL contexts.
• Security best practices awareness and ability to map controls to compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced infrastructure engineering in cloud environments.
• Design and build automated solutions for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and advise on infrastructure issues for client escalations.
• Develop and productize cloud services to differentiate Atmosera.
• Collaborate with customers to define alerting telemetry and runbooks.
• Lead service transition build teams for greenfield and migrations.
• Assist in development and training of others.
• Stay informed on Azure developments and recommend new capabilities.
• Maintain up-to-date configuration documentation for client deployments.
