Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to architect and build Azure-based, API-driven solutions that securely orchestrate data across enterprise systems. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and Agile teams, with some in-person interviews as needed. Strong focus on API security, GraphQL, Java/Spring, and CI/CD in a remote U.S.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience architecting and developing solutions on Microsoft Azure using Azure Functions, Data Factory, Storage, and related services.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Azure Functions, Data Factory, Storage, and related services.
• Own the full API lifecycle using Azure API Management, including design, development, security, analytics, monitoring, and deprecation.
• Implement API security with Azure Active Directory, plus custom policies, mTLS, and throttling.
• Develop APIs using GraphQL as well as Java, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitHub Actions within Agile/Scrum teams.
