Simple Solutions is seeking a Senior AWS EDA/HPC Architect & SME to lead architecture and optimization of scalable HPC and EDA workloads on AWS across global projects. The role bridges semiconductor design engineering and cloud infrastructure to modernize chip design workflows and reduce runtimes.

The candidate will collaborate with engineering and IT leadership, implement secure, automated cloud deployments, and mentor teams on best practices for tool integration and optimization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HPC or EDA architecture, systems engineering, or cloud roles.
• 5+ years designing AWS-based HPC or semiconductor design environments.
• Expertise with EDA tools and parallel compute optimization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end AWS HPC/EDA environments for large-scale simulations.
• Lead cloud migrations of on-prem EDA workloads to AWS using ParallelCluster and FSx for Lustre.
• Design cost-efficient architectures with Spot Instances, Auto Scaling, and elastic file systems.
• Integrate automation and DevOps pipelines with CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with semiconductor design teams to tune workloads for AWS.
• Advise on data management strategies for high-throughput EDA workflows.
