Mactores is an AWS modernization firm seeking a hands-on DevOps engineer for remote freelance engagements. You will automate infrastructure, manage CI/CD, and support deployment and operations for enterprise applications and big data workloads.

Responsibilities include building scalable pipelines, migrating legacy infrastructure to AWS, and enforcing best practices across teams while engaging directly with clients to meet committed dates.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of Terraform for IaaC.
• 4+ years of configuration management and engineering for large-scale customers.
• 4+ years of Linux or Windows administration.
• 4+ years with Git and branching/merging.
• 2+ years of AWS infrastructure experience.
• 2+ years with cloud automation tools (Ansible, Chef).
• Exposure to container services on AWS: Kubernetes, ECS, EKS.
• Proactive mindset to improve reliability and operational excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Automate infrastructure creation using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Run application configuration management and enable Iac through deployment tools.
• Own and manage the build and release cycle for customer projects.
• Share responsibility for deploying releases and other operations/maintenance.
• Improve operations infrastructure including Jenkins, Bitbucket, monitoring tools.
• Provide operational support and migrate legacy infrastructure to the cloud.
• Establish and enforce operational best practices and health checks.
• Build scalable infrastructure for data platforms like EMR, Redshift, SageMaker.
• Build CI pipeline and guide the team in DevOps practices.
