Remote AWS DevOps Engineer – Infra & CI/CD

Morning Consult, LLC; Washington, Chicago, New York (District of Columbia, IL, NY); Remoto; USD 93.000 - 150.000; Tempo pieno

Descrizione del lavoro

Morning Consult is hiring for an Infrastructure/DevOps role in the United States. You’ll build the platform for AI-powered products, owning infrastructure, pipelines, and tooling that enable fast, safe shipping.

You’ll collaborate with product and data engineers, influence architecture decisions, and drive end-to-end projects. The role supports remote or office-based work in DC, Chicago, or NYC, with a focus on secure, observable, and cost-efficient AWS environments.

Competenze

• 2–4 years of DevOps engineering experience in a small or mid-size company.
• Hands-on AWS experience with core services (EC2, EKS or ECS, S3, IAM, networking).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• A track record of owning projects end to end and explaining technical tradeoffs clearly to engineers outside infrastructure.
• Curiosity about AI and experience using AI tools to speed up infrastructure, debugging or automation work.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes experience.

Mansioni

• Own infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines so engineering teams can ship safely, often and with confidence.
• Bring an infrastructure perspective to architecture decisions early, working alongside engineers rather than at handoff.
• Improve observability, alerting and incident response, tracing problems to root cause and sharing what we learn.
• Lead defined infrastructure projects from scoping through rollout.
• Keep our AWS environment secure, reliable and cost-efficient.
• Review teammates' infrastructure code and share what you learn.
• Use AI tools in your own infrastructure work, and share what works so the whole team gets faster.
